My mom was always doing something, whether it was school, drama, sports or work she was never bored. When she was in Jr. High, in church, she was doing skits and school and sports, but she still kept up with the same social status. She was well liked and all the people on her skit team wanted to be her friend. She would practice a weekly skit throughout the the school week and then on sunday she would preform it before the elementary kids. She was well liked among the elementary kids too. many people talked about how great she was and how well she adapts for moving so much. My mom was known throughout my church because of who she was and what she did.

Body of Biographical Narrative

Body: #1

My mom started with a story of one the time she had to move. She was in her Sophomore or Junior year of High School and she was in a summer camp. My grandmother came and took her out of a amazing church summer camp because of a "family emergency". When she got home her mother told her to pack as much as she could in two hours; then she left a town she had lived in for 2 years without even saying goodbye to anyone.

My mom drove down to Chico, California, a place where she had lived before, and she had to make a choice; she had to choose to go back to her old high school and be the old shelley, or go to a new high school and change who she was. My mom chose to change. She went to a new high school, she connected up with some college kids from the church, and she changed for the better. Since she made that decision, she was led to my real dad, leading to me.

When we first moved here to San Jose, the first thing my mom did after unpacking was she baked some cookies and she went the neighbors houses and talked with the neighbors. She talked with the for hours, talking about where we used to live, she talked about us, her kids, she talked about my missions trip, and etc... now, our neighbors say we can go in their backyard any day we want, and we can go swimming in their pool. My mom mind boggles me.

My mom was the type that was always moving. My grandfather had a job that never allowed her to stay in one spot for too long, she would be in Washington, then Idaho, then California, Oregon, and back to California. She had to switch schools often, making new friends everywhere she went, finding new churches and having a new home almost every year. She told me "I never unpacked all my boxes 'cause I knew I was going to be leaving again soon." My mom had a hard life, and it made her who she is today.

Controlling impression= my mom is an outgoing, loving person. and she can acclimate to things well.
